1. Store BelkaFilter at room temperature to ensure that the sensor remains stable near 25 degrees Celsius. (as indicated by the S.Temp. display at the top of the Rec. screen. Not recorded logs.)
  2. Before measuring, clean and dry the area around the EC sensor probe.
  3. Turn off the automatic recording function on the Rec. screen. Now, check what the Hanna solution measures as a reference based on the EC value displayed at the top of the Rec. screen (Previous EC).
  4. Now, proceed with the calibration in the settings. Previous EC → Current EC. Apply it only once. Avoid applying it multiple times as it can result in duplicate adjustments.
  5. Check if the Rec. screen displays the EC value correctly when it comes into contact with the standard solution.

❊ Caution! When calibrating the EC sensor, use the 'Current sensor value' as a reference, not the 'Recorded log value'.

The current sensor's reading is displayed at the top of the Rec. screen when no extraction logs are being recorded.

The readings in the recorded log are temperature-compensated for the coffee brewing situation, so you should not measure a standard solution at room temperature rather than hot coffee.
