In the 'Coffee Montage', we tested brewing coffee with belkafilter with the CEO and baristas. We brewed two times in a row, with the second brew taking 3 seconds longer. The pressure was constant, and the weight was the same. However, the EC was significantly different at the beginning. Why? We speculated that there was a lot of channeling at the beginning and tasted it (blind test). And we all had the same opinion. "I can tell from the taste that there was channeling. It's not a negligible difference."
